Buchung and Dschombe were our guide and driver during our trip from Lhasa to Kashgar from 15 May to 30 May 2010. In summary: Buchung and Dschombe were the best possible team, we can imagine Buchung being a guide with high experience of all relevant places during the trip, deep knowledge of historic and religious background, and full dedication to make the journey as suitable as possible for his guess He was always very friendly and kind, supportive and pro-active, and we felt part of ”his family”. He always found the best possible places to stay overnight, the best and most clean restaurants, and was extremely flexible with respect to our wishes His capabilities and performance made our trip an unforgettable, and beautiful experience. Dschombe is an extremely skilled and excellent driver with a perfect car, always kept clean and in best condition, for this kind of trip. He always drove very safely and well, even during the extreme parts of our trip with rather bad and difficult road conditions (including new snow one very high passes), and we always felt perfectly well in his car during the trip. Besides his driving skills, he was a very nice and friendly travel companion, very helpful and supportive, and again. We also felt being part of ”his family”. Being daily in average more than 5 hours in his car, his performance was also key to making our tour a wonderful journey. For trips like ours these two gentlemen are a team which guarantees for outstanding performance and success and beautiful travel experiences. We thank both of them being our travel companions during two impressive and astounding weeks from Lhasa to Kashgar.
